YOUTH ROUND-UP: UNDER 16s SHINE AT AYLESBURY

YOUTH ROUND-UP: UNDER 16s SHINE AT AYLESBURY

Rich Ashton7 Dec - 08:15

All the latest from around the age groups!

THE Under 16s continued their fine run of form with a 53-0 victory at an injury-hit Aylesbury.

Rams host Marlow this afternoon (1.15pm).

There was mixed success for the U15s who visited Esher and played on the first-team pitch.

The visitors led 26-10 at the interval before both clubs made wholesale changes, Esher taking the spoils 10-5 in a truncated second period.

The U15s send two sides to Bracknell today.

An unfortunate broken wrist left the visiting Rams U14s a man short in the second half of their trip to High Wycombe, a 14-12 half-time lead ultimately ending with a 36-14 reverse as fresh legs added impetus for the home team.

In contrast, the game between the two clubs at Old Bath Road saw the hosts triumph 36-10.

There is a double-header for the age group today with home (1pm) and away fixtures with Farnham.

The U13s also send two teams to the same opponents as they look to build on a couple of excellent victories at Camberley (15-3 and 14-3).

There was plenty of fun among the Minis as four U9 teams hosted a triangular tournament with Abbey and Reading, while the latter also visited at U8 level for the second part of their Autumn Internationals themed rivalry.

The Colts had a rest weekend, but plenty of their recent alumni starred for Berkshire Under 20s in a 59-19 success at Oxford University Whippets.
