
ELLIOT Jones and Will Oakley both bagged braces as Rams Colts signed off in style with a 49-20 victory at Cinderford.
The visitors fell behind to an unconverted score before fly-half Jones added to his own effort.
Man-of-the-match Cobe Kisitu then set-up Will Oakley before Henry Cook crossed for 17-5 to Rams.
Cindy cut the gap with their second try, but Oakley doubled up before the break.
The Berkshire boys then clicked into overdrive, Ethan Brown, Joe Swift, Jones and Jake Bruton all crossing in rapid order.
Jones knocked over a second conversion, but Cinderford kept going and grabbed two more tries.
Rams, though, had the final word as Josh Nunes dotted down to finish the scoring in a highly entertaining affair.
The Under 16s won a five-team tournament at Reading Abbey featuring a brace of Rams sides, two from the hosts and Wallingford.
The champions won all four of their games while the other Rams side finished third having won two and lost two.
The U16s host Basingstoke on the first team pitch this afternoon (1.15pm).
Two U15 sides impressed at the Esher Sevens, with fine wins against Richmond, Maidenhead and the hosts.
And two days later both sides finished third in their respective tournaments at the Swindon 15-a-side competition.
The U14s were narrowly edged out in the Plate semi-finals at Oxford Harlequins.
Rams beat Banbury (14-12), Beaconsfield (14-0) and Witney (7-5 in the group stage, though lost to Barkers Butts (0-19).
After finishing third in the Pool, they went down 14-7 to Reading.
The U14s host Royal Wootten Bassett this afternoon (1pm).
Ahead of a tournament at Reading Abbey also featuring North Dorset today, the U13s defeated Tadley 15-3 under glorious sunshine.
The second part of the Rams’ Minis Festival saw the U7/U9 and U11s enjoy a fabulous day.
Meanwhile the U8/10/12 groups also had great fun at Newbury.
The U6s also had fun at their penultimate session, a day after acting as fabulous flag-bearers for the first team against Rosslyn Park!
