JORDAN Navetta scored 13 points including a sensational solo try to keep the Colts’ dreams of an OBB Division One three-peat alive following a 48-0 home success against Marlow.

With plenty of players at the Under 18 South West Trials it was a much-changed Rams side featuring several debutants, but they put in a polished performance for a fourth league victory in five.

A third-minute Josh Gouws try set the hosts on their way, Ollie Preston doubling the lead before Navetta made it 17-0 following a Gouws second.

Ethan Brown extended the lead early in the second period, Navetta again on target before Charlie Neet collected his side’s fifth try.

Captain Dougie Bardsley added a converted try before Navetta’s seven-pointer sealed the deal.

Victory leaves Rams two points behind Windsor – who they play in the last game of the season – although Chinnor remain favourites.

The Thame men sit third but can go top with a bonus-point victory in their re-arranged game against Reading today.

If they lose, though, the competition remains wide open.

The U16s Extras defeated Newbury 16-10 for their first-ever victory against their West Berkshire rivals, with the age group heading to Windsor today.

There was a big win for the U15s against Basingstoke at Bohunt along with a 29-12 victory at Reading.

The U14s are due to visit Alton later, but all scheduled home fixtures have unfortunately been postponed due to waterlogged pitches.
