OUTSTANDING open-side flanker Tegan Strydom was a deserved winner of the Players’ Player of the Year trophy as the Colts’ celebrated another successful season.
Dave Cox’s side finished as runners-up in OBB Division One, beaten only by champions Chinnor.
Yet they were the most prolific point-scorers, racking up a remarkable 262 in just seven games.
They conceded just 44 to end with a points difference of +218.
Rams also enjoyed another strong National Cup run, defeating Marlow (50-5) and Windsor (23-19) en route to the last 16.
Try-scorer Tegan was magnificent in both those victories, before his side were eventually edged out 13-8 by Dorking.
A relentless presence around the park, Tegan combined tremendous physicality with technical brilliance at the breakdown throughout the campaign.
And he also crossed the whitewash in the 43-14 friendly triumph against Chinnor at the end of March.
*Congratulations Tegan on a fantastic season!
