JOSH Nunes’ fine Colts’ campaign helped the tight-head prop take home the Most Improved Player of the Year award at the end-of-season party.
The front row enjoyed a stellar season as part of a pack which was often dominant in ensuring Rams lost just two games all term.
These came at home to Chinnor in the league, and Dorking at the last 16 stage of the National Cup.
But otherwise it was another fabulous eight months for Dave Cox’s men, who won six of their seven league outings to finish runners-up in OBB Division One.
Including pre-season friendly successes, the Colts triumphed in 16 out of 18 contests.
And Josh was a big part of the run, consistently excellent in both the set-piece and open-field play.
He was also not averse to crossing the whitewash, bagging a brace in the 45-22 friendly win against Maidenhead last December.
And fittingly after his marvellous efforts, Josh also grabbed the last try of the season in the 49-20 away triumph at Cinderford.
*Kudos Josh on your brilliant campaign and a well-deserved trophy!
