IAN was everything a rugby club could ever hope for in a President – respected, loyal, generous and deeply loved by generations of players, families, sponsors and opposing teams.

From the old traditions of the clubhouse to the unforgettable tours as “El Presidente”, Ian represented the very heart and soul of our club.

Through every era, every team and every character who passed through the doors, he remained a constant source of wisdom, humour and guidance.

So many of us will remember his calm words after difficult Saturdays, his unwavering support, and the genuine care he showed to everyone around him.

Beyond rugby, Ian changed lives with his kindness and belief in people.

His integrity, respect and values left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

My thoughts are with the entire family at this incredibly sad time.

What a beautiful legacy Ian leaves behind.
