FRIDAY Club stalwart and scoreboard supremo Andy Anderson was presented with his Honours Cap at Rams’ end-of-season ball – his incredible service recognised with a standing ovation.
A fabulous stint at the club saw Andy first join in 1978, the front row’s lowest moment coming when he broke his neck against Old Fullerians in the early 80s.
However, the proud Scot did not let that phase him, and remains a huge contributor to keeping Old Bath Road looking in tip-top condition as well as on matchdays – ensuring the scoreboard is updated on home games as well as travelling round the country to offer his support when Rams are away.
